I made this small outdoor wood pine childrens picnic table for my family 6 years ago & it still holds several hundred pounds with ease.  These are not the cheap 3/4" lumber kids small wood pine picnic table.  Other places sell outdoor child size picnic tables that only last kids the summer.  With proper staining our outdoor kid picnic tables will out last any child or several children guaranteed.  This table was sealed with Cabots "Colonial Yellow" solid color outdoor stain.
